A True Blue Wedding

Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding of one of Ottawa's finest. Cst. Trevor Hart and his beautiful wife Jennifer. This was a photographers dream. Jennifer entered the church under the watchful eye of a full honorary guard. Well Trevor stood and watched in ah as his soon to be wife walked down the isle arm and arm with her two very caring brothers. The whole day was perfect. Thanks to Trevor's pleasant demeanor and Jennifer's attention to detail no stone went unturned and thus a truly enjoyable day was had by everyone.

Happy Birthday to us, happy birthday to us...

Well today is my birthday and yesterday was Heathers. It's great having a birthday a day apart from your spouse. Not only do we save money by only having to go out for dinner once but we also have a two day birthday(s) celebration! I love it! Yesterday I made Heather her favorite dinner, prime rib al-a-Mike! Great food, good company and happy times....can beat that!

Once Upon A Time....

Last week I drove eight hours to shoot Shane & Tarrahs wedding. It was amazing. I've never been at a wedding were everyone made me feel like I was a long lost friend. I can't say enough about this couple...they are perfect! From the moment I took the first picture I knew that this couple would be sharing my images for generations to come. They have a truly blessed future together.

One year down and many more to go!

Today marks the first anniversary of a great couple that I got had the opportunity to capture their wedding day. It's hard to believe that one year has past since that fantastic night. As a little thank you I printed the below picture and framed it for them. Congratulation guys and all the best in the coming years!

Lucky 07/07/07 wedding

Well today in Vegas terms is a very lucky day...07/07/07! That's if your playing the slots. I'm sure the luck will carry over with the Brownlee wedding. Today my wifes cousin got married, but as an added bonus they had the cutest little flower girl and ring bearer you've ever seen....my kids! I must say it was rather an honour to have been asked about a year ago if Lily and Myles could take part in the wedding. Well at the same time it was very nerve racking thinking of your kids horsing around during the ceremony. Well all my prayers for the past year were answered, they behaved. Not only did they behave they were fantastic. My son called himself "the king" well my daughter was "a princess" . They looked it, that's for sure! I've added a few shoots I took of the kids, the bride and groom and one my brother in law took of all of us, enjoy!

The Journey As One Began In Jamacia

Last night I was privileged to be a part of the evening as these two fantastic people celebrated their resent wedding in Jamaica. The evening began with this young couple walking to dinner arm and arm, but not before stopping for me to capture a few moments in front of this beautiful ivy wall. It's always great when I get to share these special moments with loving couples like these two! Thanks guys!

Kelly & Casey's Engagement Shoot

The other day I had the opportunity to photograph this great young couple. For me there is nothing better then getting to know the couple and having a very relaxing and fun time on the engagement shoot. This couple was no different! Right from the start I could tell we were going to have a great time. They are so in love and full of energy which really showed in all their photos. But at the same time so relaxed and cool, something you don't see to often right from the start...I guess I'm a calming guy:)
